Effect of Laser Strengthening on Electrochemical Corrosion of AA6082 Aluminum Alloy

In this study, the surface of 6082 aluminum alloy was machined by laser heat treatment, and microstructure properties affected zone were discussed scanning electron microscope (SEM). The experimental results show that treatment has an obvious second phase fine grain strengthening effect on alloy. local hardness action been improved obviously. Combined with polarization curve data microscopic corrosion morphology, addition laser, resistance mechanism well optimized, number continuity pitting pits have restrained. intergranular maximum depth behavior decreased under Cl−. comprehensive effectively optimized treatment.the mechanical AA6082 investigated.
